Q. Mr. Capp,

I am an associate adviser for an awesome Venturing crew, I am writing to you to ask when will girls be allowed to join OA?

Thank you for your time,

John

A. John,

Thank you for your note. I too am a Venturing crew adviser and love the work. However, I am afraid that the Venturing program has not adopted the Order of the Arrow as its honor society like the Boy Scout program did, years ago. Sorry to be the one to tell you, but Venturing crews do not conduct OA elections. They are only done in Boy Scout troops and Varsity Scout teams.
