The Order of the Arrow will have our largest participation ever at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree - nearly three times as many staff as previous jamborees going all the way back to 1950. This effort, dubbed "Project 2013," will have a major impact on the Jamboree efforts this year. The Order's presence in supporting the Jamboree programs will primarily be in four areas: OA Service Corps, Jamboree Trek Guides, an American Indian Village, and Jamboree Day of Service Crew Leaders. The Order of the Arrow will also be supporting staff recreation and providing OA-specific program to Project 2013 staff members.

Day of Service Crew Leaders made up of Arrowmen age 16-25 will lead Jamboree troops in performing community service projects in the National Park areas and in nearby communities. They will also assist the OA Service Corps during major events for the Jamboree. Openings are still available for this important and fun position on OA staff, so sign up today! Make history at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree with the Order of the Arrow.

Please help us fill our staff by promoting these openings at your lodge events and section conclaves! Our leadership at prior jamborees, and most recently with ArrowCorps5 in 2008 and SummitCorp 2011, has shown everyone what we are capable of doing. Help us fully reach our staff goals at the 2013 Jamboree. For more information on Jamboree staff opportunities, including Day of Service Crew leaders, check out the Project 2013 web site.

This year's "Project 2013" effort is the last national OA opportunity until we celebrate the Order's centennial anniversary at NOAC in 2015!
