The Order of the Arrow will not operate the OA Ocean Adventure program out of the Dry Tortugas National Park for the 2023 summer season.
Without finding an alternative location and increased participation costs, it is in the best interest for the OA Ocean Adventure to pause for this 2023 season.
This is not the end of the OA Ocean Adventure program. The goal behind this pause is to return with a revitalized and sustainable program. In pursuit of this goal, for the 2023 season, no OA High Adventure program will operate out of the Florida Sea Base.
While this decision was not easy, the Order of the Arrow is committed to providing the best possible experience to participants interested in attending OAOA in the future.
In the meantime, plenty of opportunities are still available for Arrowmen seeking to attend an OA High Adventure trek this summer.! 2023 is already gearing up to be one of the busiest summers ever—with registration filling up quickly at the four other OA High Adventure programs: OA Trail Crew, OA Canadian Odyssey, OA Wilderness Voyage, and OA Summit Experience! Currently, all treks are actively recruiting both foremen and participants but don’t wait because space is limited and filling up fast!
