Q: Ray,

Is it appropriate for the OA sash to be worn with the Venturing or Sea Scout uniform?

A: Yes, if a Venturer is a member of the OA, they may wear the flap, universal ribbon and OA sash on appropriate occasions with their Venturing uniform. If a Sea Scout is a member of the OA, the OA sash may be worn with a Sea Scout uniform only when participating in an OA event. The lodge flap may be worn on the Sea Scout new century uniform only; the pocket flap is not worn with other Sea Scout uniforms. This policy is reflected in documents at SeaScout.org and will be contained in the next revision to the Sea Scout Manual.
