Recently, the state legislature in Wisconsin passed a resolution to commemorate the Order’s centennial anniversary. Governor Scott Walker, a Distinguished Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of Chemokemon Lodge, pushed for the resolution to pass in the assembly along with many other state officials who have ties to the OA and Scouting. Within the resolution, the Wisconsin legislature recognized the Order’s impact within its communities and the promise the organization has for the state’s future. State leaders in Iowa recognized the Order’s impact, too. At the Mid-Iowa Council ArrowTour stop, the state of Iowa recognized the Order’s impact with Governor Paul Pate’s presentation of a proclamation.
