The party continues!

Order of the Arrow High Adventure will continue to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2021. What began as a dream in the summer of 1995, OAHA has now become one of the most unique and fascinating programs in the entirety of the Boy Scouts of America. Arrowmen gather together from around the country for anywhere from 7-14 days to take part in a one of a kind, customized outdoor experience that can’t be found anywhere. Participants come together as complete strangers, but leave with memories and friends that will last a lifetime - and all for a significantly cheaper amount than any other high adventure experience. There are five exclusive OA High Adventure programs across the four BSA National High Adventure Bases.

Order of the Arrow Trail Crew

Arrowmen come together at the “pinnacle of Scouting,” the historic Philmont Scout Ranch for 14 days. During the first half, they get to leave their legacy on the ranch by building trails that will be used by generations of Scouts. The second week they get to choose their own adventure and trek across the beautiful mountains and meadows of Philmont. All for only $350 for Scouts ages 16-21.

Order of the Arrow Ocean Adventure

Swim with sharks and sea turtles all while working on a Civil War era fort in the middle of the ocean at OAOA. Participants visit the rustic tropical paradise of the Dry Tortugas National Park where they complete the first half of their trek completing restoration projects on Fort Jefferson. On the second half of their trek, Scouts get to deep sea fish, ocean kayak and explore the beautiful coral reefs of the park. OAOA is an 8 week program and costs $500 for Scouts ages 16-21.

Order of the Arrow Wilderness Voyage

Go “Up North” with Order of the Arrow Canadian Odyssey for 14 days. Launching from Northern Tier, participants explore the endless lakes of the Boundary Waters National Canoe Area. For the service portion of the trek, participants restore portages before setting out to explore the unique landscape of the area. Highlights include seeing wild moose, hidden waterfalls and breathtaking sunsets for only $200 for Scouts ages 16-21.

Order of the Arrow Summit Experience

Explore the newest National High Adventure Base and National Park for 8 days with OASE. For the service portion of the trek, Arrowmen provide trail building service to the New River Gorge National Park. They then get to experience all of the incredible offerings of the Summit like the country’s longest zipline, world class white water rafting and ATVs for the low price of $275. For ages 14-18.

Order of the Arrow Canadian Odyssey

OAHA goes international as Arrowmen get to take part in all of the incredible experiences of Wilderness Voyage, but in Canada, allowing them to leave a positive impact on the world community and giving them the title of world traveler. Scouts ages 16-21 can travel the world for 14 days for only $200 as long as they have a valid passport. Contact your local leadership for scholarship opportunities.
