NOAC 2015 Conference Vice Chiefs

The 2015 National Order of the Arrow Conference could not be accomplished without strong youth leadership. During the 2014 National Planning Meeting, the section chiefs elected the conference vice chiefs (CVCs) that will lead the NOAC 2015 program. The CVCs are tasked with not only creating, but also delivering the program at NOAC. Learn more about these Arrowmen!

Activities and Recreation (ARC): Tyler Inberg

“We have the opportunity to hold the largest event in OA history! Let’s show the nation how we celebrate the centennial anniversary.”

W-1S Section Chief Tyler Inberg is from Cascade Pacific Council in Tualatin, Oregon. He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member and Founder’s Award recipient. Tyler is studying electrical and computer engineering & innovation management at Oregon State University. He enjoys event planning and hiking in his free time.  A fun fact about Tyler is he climbed Mt. Adams in the summer of 2011.

American Indian Affairs (AIA): Brandon Sinclair

“Jingle Jingle Jingle.  Come dance and mingle!”

C-2 Section Chief Brandon Sinclair is from President Ford Field Service Council in Rockford, Michigan.  He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member and Honor Arrowman Award recipient. Brandon studies business administration at Grand Rapids Community College. He enjoys long walks on the beach, target shooting, petting his cats, lifting weights, hanging out with the girlfriend and working!  Brandon also has two cats named Kit Kat and Scrambles.

Centennial Celebrations: Michael Swalberg

“I’m excited for the numerous unique opportunities the centennial anniversary poses for us to make 2015 the best we’ve ever seen.”

W-3N Section Chief Michael Swalberg is from Marin Council, California. He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member and Founder’s Award recipient. Michael studies political science at the College of Marin and enjoys running, hiking and photography in his free time. A interesting fact about Michael is he broke his arm playing duck duck goose in the 2nd grade.

Communications: Patrick Burtchaell

“Communications is an invaluable component of NOAC. We will work to both develop new ways to provide more meaningful content to Arrowmen not attending the conference and to improve on the current processes in place for internal conference communication.”

SR-1A Section Chief Patrick Burtchaell is from Southeast Louisiana Council in Chalmette, LA. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member and is excited to serve as the communications CVC. Patrick studies design at Loyola University in New Orleans. In his free time, Patrick enjoys sailing, running and camping. A fun fact about Patrick is he despises the taste of mushrooms.

Inductions and Ceremonial Events (ICE): Keith Roscoe

“Bring it on!”

NE-3B Section Chief Keith Roscoe is from Otschodela Council in Howes Cave, New York. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member.  Keith studies French and Spanish at Bard College and enjoys singing opera and jazz music as well as traveling and reading in his free time.  A fun fact about Keith is he is trilingual - and speaks English, French and Spanish.

National Eagle Scout Association at NOAC (NESA @ NOAC): Daniel Burton

“I’m excited to re-energize NESA @ NOAC for the centennial anniversary.”

W-6E Section Chief Daniel Burton is from Great Southwest Council in Aztec, New Mexico. He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member and recipient of the 2014 Arrowman of the Year award from Yah-Yah-Hey-Si-Kess Lodge. Daniel intends to study neuroscience in the fall. In his free time, Daniel enjoys backpacking, racing, patch collecting and traveling. A fun fact about Daniel is he has traveled to 28 states.

Outdoor Adventure: Travis Broadhurst

"In this, our centennial anniversary, our committee will dedicate itself to relentlessly strive to give all our resources, efforts and talents to Outdoor Activities and make this celebration one for the centuries!”

SR-5 Section Chief Travis Broadhurst is from Daniel Boone Council in Weaverville, North Carolina. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor Member. Travis studies physics and chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In his free time, Travis enjoys skiing, playing handball, backpacking and getting lost with friends. A fun fact about Travis is that when he is not in uniform, he is in a tank top!

Shows: Austin Kriznar

“Shows is working to achieve a vision that inspires all Arrowmen to carry out the theme during (and after) the conference.”

SR-4 Section Chief Austin Kriznar is from North Florida Council in Jacksonville, Florida. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member. Austin studies industrial engineering and history at the University of Central Florida. Austin enjoys making & mixing music as well as exercising in his free time. Fun fact about Austin is he has an extensive sweater collection.

Special Events: Dylan O’Brien

“I would like to work with different NOAC committees and staff to ensure that every NOAC guest has an amazing experience.”

NE-1 Section Chief Dylan O’Brien is from Old Colony Council in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member excited to serve as the special events CVC. Dylan studies nursing at Weymouth Vo-Tech. Dylan enjoys biking and traveling at his leisure. A fun fact about Dylan is he is a state champion extemporaneous speaker.

Training: Jake Torpey

“NOAC 2015 will be great!”

SR 2-3N Section Chief Jake Torpey is from Longhorn Council in Keller, Texas. Jake is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member and recipient of the James E. West Fellowship and Founder’s Award. He is studying civil engineering at Blinn College and enjoys welding and fabrication during his free time. A fun fact about Jake is that he is a twin!
