On June 15, there was an online forum to answer questions about staffing Operation Arrow. The dialogue included updates on events happening at jamboree and important information for staff members. Here’s what was discussed:

Operation Arrow will be the largest OA staff at a jamboree, with 630 staff members currently registered to fuel Scouting’s adventure at the Summit Bechtel Reserve (SBR).

The JamboLink team recently released the mobile application for all jamboree attendees. Download the app and find out more here.

There is an adult-only staff if you would like to serve on Operation Arrow as an adult. The Aerial Sports team is still looking for members. Find out more about adult Operation Arrow staff opportunities here

If you haven't received the Pulse eNews for Operation Arrow staff members, please email @email to ensure you will receive this informative email publication.

Operation Arrow will be a radically different experience than attending the 2017 National Jamboree as a general staffer or participant. Operation Arrow staff get at least one day off. Some staff members signed up to go whitewater rafting on their day off. Rafting is free of charge for youth. Adult staff can sign up, but may be asked to pay a fee. Find out more here

There will be a rededication ceremony, called “Return to Our Roots,” at the OA Summit Circle for all Operation Arrow staff’s enjoyment.

There will be lots of evening activities near the Operation Arrow staff’s jamboree home, Base Camp Echo. Some program elements include recreactional activities, international campfire, region gatherings and OA High Adventure reunion.

It is highly recommended that all staff members review the Operation Arrow Staff Overview prior to arrival at SBR.

There will be laundry service available from July 18th-26th. You will get one laundry bag free of charge. Each additional bag would be $5 and it costs $10 per bag laundered. For more information, click here

If you still have questions about staffing the 2017 National Jamboree with Operation Arrow, please reach out to @email. We look forward to fueling Scouting’s adventure with you this July!
