Arrowmen,

Welcome to Operation Arrow!

We’re excited to welcome you to what will be the largest-ever Order of the Arrow staff at a jamboree. While the summer of 2017 may seem like a long time from now, we wanted to begin sharing some critical information through the Operation Arrow Pulse. This internal staff bulletin will be distributed quarterly through the end of 2016 and more frequently as we approach the jamboree. We’ll share key updates, give you a glimpse into our planning efforts, and provide updates on the overall jamboree program.

We are well on our way to assembling the largest-ever OA presence at jamboree, with over 250 Arrowmen recruited as part of the Service Corps, Trek Guides, Indian Village, Medical Transport Corps, Summit Center Exhibit and headquarters support staffs. But our work is far from over. We need your help as we look to recruit over 750 youth Arrowmen to join us at the Summit Bechtel Reserve! There are a number of promotional resources available for download on the Operation Arrow website, along with more information about our program areas and a link to apply. Please help us get the word out and encourage your friends and fellow Arrowmen to apply. With your help, we’ll make history in 2017!

Expect more updates on our recruiting progress and plans as we approach the jamboree. In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to your lead adviser or us if you have any questions. Contact information for these individuals can be found below.
