NOAC 2024 will be held at the University of Colorado Boulder from July 29th-August 3rd, 2024!

NOAC Contingent Leader Information

NOAC 2024 planning is underway as we look forward to a fun and impactful week from July 29th to August 3rd, 2024 at the University of Colorado Boulder. Contingent leaders have one of the most important roles in making the conference successful. They oversee all aspects of the trip, including planning, logistics and ensuring the safety and well-being of all members of the contingent. In doing this, contingent leaders work closely with the lodge leadership to ensure your contingent is well-prepared and fully engaged in all aspects of the NOAC experience. They also serve as a liaison between their lodge and the conference staff, ensuring that all logistical and administrative details are handled smoothly.

Each lodge has two contingent leaders: a youth and an adult (21+). An effective contingent leader is an active member in their lodge that is enthusiastic about promoting NOAC, is organized, and is a strong communicator. They should also have problem-solving skills and experience working with the youth in their lodge. Being a contingent leader is a great opportunity to build relationships across the nation, give back to your lodge and engage deeply with your contingent.

If you are interested in being a contingent leader or associate contingent leader, please speak to your lodge adviser for more information.

Contingent Leader Primer

The Contingent Leader Primer (CLP) contains key planning information for lodge contingents to attend NOAC 2024. This primer compliments the Contingent Registration Primer (CRP) released in fall 2023 which included initial planning guidance for contingents. This guide provides contingent leaders information on the conference including major planning milestones for contingents, planning resources, housing, dining, travel, parking, health and safety, and contingent arrival information. Youth and adult contingent leaders and the lodge key 3 should review this guide in detail to continue planning for their lodge’s participation at NOAC 2024.
