Returning to Our Roots at the Summit Circle

Do you know the history and legacy of the Order of the Arrow at jamboree? Join us on the evening of Monday, July 17 at the Summit Circle as we Return to Our Roots to explore the impact of the OA at this great gathering. The Return to Our Roots ceremony will be an enriching experience as we rededicate ourselves to serving the  jamboree. Guiding our purpose at the jamboree, it will remind us of the important role each and every one of us plays in fueling Scouting's adventure.

The ceremony will take place tomorrow, in three sessions. The Trek Guides and Medical Transport Corps will arrive at buses at 6:15pm. to attend the first session, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm; Service Corps and Recreation committees will arrive at buses at 7:15pm go to the second session, from 8:00pm to 9:00pm; and Indian Village, OA exhibit and the Aerial Sports Team, will arrive at buses at 8:15pm to attend the third session, from 9:00pm to 10:00pm.

Groups will convene at the Echo bus depot 45 minutes prior to their session for transport to the ceremony. Attire for the ceremony is your Operation Arrow staff uniform (zesty blue polo shirt and hat, Scout shorts or pants, Scout socks and appropriate hiking shoes). They will then walk to the Summit Circle. It is extremely important everyone bring water for the walk over. Transport back to Echo will be provided after each ceremony.

In the event of severe weather or other complications, look out for a notification on the app with further instructions.
