For the first time ever, we are pleased to invite OA alumni to participate in a special alumni day at the 2022 National Order of the Arrow Conference (“NOAC”). NOAC is the OA’s biennial gathering of Arrowmen from across the country for a week of training, special shows, fun and fellowship. This year, we hope you join us!

The 2022 NOAC will take place at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from July 25-30, 2022. For a nominal fee of $75, OA alumni can attend a one-day, special NOAC program which will include meals, activities, the evening theme show, access to exclusive merchandise and meeting fellow alumni at a private evening social hour off-campus. For more details on this special program, visit here

Below is a personalized guide for OA alumni to prepare for this program, which overviews registering, booking travel and securing accommodations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to @email with any questions. Thanks, and see you soon at NOAC!

Step 1: Set up your NOAERS Account

Register for OA Alumni Day through the National Order of the Arrow Event Registration System (“NOAERS”) at this link. You will need to create a NOAERS account if you do not already have one. Simply input your first name, last name, email address and password to create your account.

Step 2: Register Online

Once you have created your account, provide all requested personal information, an emergency contact, and Scouting information (Scouting information is optional). Proceed to check out and pay the $75 fee via credit card. We encourage registration by July 1 to ensure time to complete the additional steps below. Once paid, you are registered for the program!

Step 3: Receive Hotel and Background Check Details

At some point after registration, our team will reach out with details on the hotel accommodations and the background check process. Registered alumni can book a room with our room block at the Hyatt Place Knoxville for a special discounted room rate of $139/night on both Sunday and Monday evening. Valet parking is available at the hotel for $28 per day or you can self park at the State Street Garage for $7/day.

Step 4: Complete Background Check and Youth Protection Requirements

In the same email overviewing hotel information, we will include details on consenting to a background check and completing Youth Protection Training. While OA alumni do not need to be dues paid members of the BSA to attend OA Alumni Day at NOAC, registration for this program includes consent to a standard background check and will also require proof of Youth Protection Training completion. These are requirements to participate in all BSA programs, and we thank you for your understanding.

Step 5: Book Travel

Participating alumni who are flying should plan to fly into and out of Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). Travel to and from the hotel from the airport can either be private or requested through our conference staff. Details on requesting travel will be sent to registered participants. We recommend planning to fly into Knoxville by Sunday evening and departing Tuesday.

Step 6: Enjoy!

Once all those steps are done, you are fully prepared to experience all that OA Alumni Day at NOAC will offer! Cannot wait to see you there!
