Ask the Chairman

Q. I have heard that if we send in a question to the Chairman of the Order of the Arrow, he will answer it. How do I do that?

A. You may contact the chairman, Ray Capp, at ray.capp@oa-bsa.org

Each week, he will select a question which hasn't been answered in our literature, and do his best to answer it. You may leave your name if you wish and he will credit your name as the one who submitted it, if you leave it for that purpose.

Best Practice

Best Practice: Elangomat Worksheet

Provide your Elangomats with the information they need to ensure that candidates have a positive Ordeal experience. Use the Elangomat worksheet to improve your program.

Section Advisers Collect Best Practices at 2012 National Planning Meeting

During the 2012 National Planning Meeting, the section advisers will compile a list of lodge best practices to add our online database. Be sure that your section adviser is aware of the tools and processes that your lodge and chapters use to achieve success in delivering the Order of the Arrow program so they can be shared with other lodge leaders around the nation.

Think about a successful idea your lodge uses and submit your "Best Practice" to ChapterResources@oa-bsa.org.
