Q/A: Dissolution of a LodgeQ: What is the policy, if any, for disbanding and reforming a Lodge that has become so unmanageable that no one wishes to participate in any Lodge functions or activities? Can this be done by the Council Executive? A: "The Scout executive has the right to dissolve
a lodge if he so wishes. He has that authority as the Supreme Chief
of the Fire. This action has been taken several times since I have
been director. All of the lodges were later reinstated."
You may wish to have your Scout Executive contact Mr. Mayer at the national office to discuss this issue.
