The Goal for IMAGINE is to produce and distribute an Ideabook of lodge and section program ideas compiled from lodges around the nation.

In a National Conference last year, the immediate past National Officers developed a program to aid lodges. Past years have included FOCUS, the unveiling of the Trail Crew and Year of Service, and a program guide called "Reaching the Top", consisting of ideas from the 1995 Philmont Retreat.

This year's conference is no exception. Over the course of 1997, the past officers worked to compile program ideas from all over the nation, while visiting lodges and sections. Also, a letter was mailed to all lodges requesting program ideas.

So far, it has been a huge success! We are well on our way to seeing the final draft of the "Ideabook". It will contain over 300 ideas for your lodges to use in their annual program.

Who gets a copy of the Ideabook?

Each lodge will receive one copy, regardless of whether or not they attend the National Conference. In addition, we will print another 3,000 to 5,000 copies. What will we do with them? Well, look for the past officer prize patrol at the conference. Not only will we be giving out copies of our book, but if you wear your nametag that is enclosed in your participant packet, then we may have some extra surprises for you! Look for us all over Iowa State campus, VIA luncheons and Founders Day.
