More Info on Registration Numbers
The 1998 National Order of the Arrow Conference is full. In addition to the 6,156 participants listed in the Lodge Registration Numbers and Appointments, as of July 17, 1998 page, there are almost 1,200 service lodge and support staff.
It looks like this will be one of the largest (if not the largest) NOACs we have ever held.
Concerning the numbers of youth and adults shown
in the
Lodge Registration Numbers and Appointments, as of July 17, 1998
page:
Some of the figures
represent the number of individuals which have paid
to attend (even above the
quotas) in hopes they could find additional youth and thereby obtain
additional adult slots. When the conference filled,
additional hopefulls were
placed in a waiting status hoping additional slots would
open up. This is why
it seems there are inconsistancies...in the majority
of instances the problem has been resolved.
