2000 OA Service Grant Recipients

For the past several years, the National Order of the Arrow Committee has provided matching service award grants for a limited number of projects submitted by application to the national office. A total of $30,000 was made available for distribution for 2000 projects. The evaluators considered the innovative scope and design of the project; how the project impacts a significant number of Scouts; and how the project enhances Cub Scouting or Boy Scouting in the council. The following eleven lodges are service grant recipients for 2000:

  • Unami Lodge #1, Philadelphia, PA
  • Haudenosaunee Lodge #19, Albany, NY
  • Moswetuset Lodge #52, Boston, MA
  • Wahissa Lodge #118, Winston-Salem, NC
  • Tsisqan Lodge #253, Eugene, OR
  • Comanche Lodge #254, Monroe, LA
  • Topa Topa Lodge #291, Camirillo, CA
  • Kotso Lodge #330, Abilene, TX
  • Mitigwa Lodge #450, Des Moines, IA
  • Cho-Gun-Mun-A-Nock Lodge #467, Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Malibu Lodge #566, Van Nuys, CA

Respective council offices will receive letter notification from the national office in the near future.

The National OA Committee wishes to express its appreciation to the over 70 lodges who applied for 2000 service grants. Further information on the individual grant amounts and project descriptions will be published in the next issue of the OA National Bulletin.
